Kisiizi Falls has an amazing range of beautiful birds of all sizes including the relatively rare chestnut-winged starlings that live on the cliff-face behind the waterfall. Then there are butterflies with spectacular markings and a range of other insects. Lizards, chameleons, bats all live here and of course the fish in the streams. Occasional snakes are seen so we advise visitors to stay on the trails and not wonder off in long vegetation.
Although there are a lot of plantation eucalyptus, Kisiizi Falls is planting many indigenous trees. Orchids and other plants may be enjoyed near the Falls.
